  •  Ships Gang Way To Be In Position At All Times Whilst Alongside.
  •  Rat Guards To Be Fixed On Every Point.
  •  Scrapping Or Painting Not Allowed Without Prior Permission.
  •  Red Flag To Be Hoisted In Daylight, And Red Light In The Night-Time For Ships Loaded With Dangerous Cargo.
  •  All Communications Devices Must Be Off Whilst Ships Alongside. (Wireless Radio, Radio Telephone).
  •  The Master Should Report Immediately About Any Person Who Tries To Impose His Influence On The Master To Take Any.
  • The Master Should Not Sign/Stamp Any Document To Any Party Without The Presence Of His Agent.
  • The Master Is Fully Responsible For The Actions Of His Crew During The Vessel Stay In The Port.
  • No One Is Allowed To Visit The Accomm Odation, Bridge And Offices Of The Vessel. Only Regarding Discharging/Loading Operations Of The Vessel.
  • Taking Photo In Ports Is Strictly Forbidden.
  • If Required For The Master To Present Any Report, Remarks, Protest, It Should Be Presented Through His Shipping Agent.
  • Master Must Produce All International Certificates Prescribed For The Ship.
  • Declaring All Money, Cigarettes And Spirits With The Crew On Crew Declaration.
  • Cargo (Cbm & Mt) Should Be Indicated In Cargo Manifest.
  • All Kinds Of Spirits, Alcohol, Wine And Drugs Are Not Allowed To Be Sold, Bought And Consumed In Libya, Nor Should They Be Offered To Anyone.
  • All Wines, Alcohols And Excessive Cigarettes And Pornographic Literature On Board Must Be Stamped With Custom Seal And The Master Is To See That Above Is Strictly Adhered. Â
  • Ships Must Be To Nominate Local Agent Before Arrival To Libyan Ports.
  • Fill Out The Required 11 Fal Forms And Send Them To The Agent 48 Hours Before The Ship Arrives.
  • Ships Be Bound To Any Libyan Ports Should Be Contact With Authorities Prior Entering Territorial Waters, Using Vhf Ch 16, 12, 11.
  • Libyan Territorial Waters Limited By 12 Nautical Miles And In Gulf Of Sirt By Parallel 32 30′ N.
  • Passing Ships Must Keep Contact With Coastal Stations.
  • Priority For Entering Ports Will Be For Passenger Ships, Live Stock, Liner, Post, Cargo, Tankers, And Dangerous Cargo.
  • Ships In Anchorage Area Not Allowed Changing Position Without Permission.
  • A Pilot Service Is Compulsory In All Libyans Ports.
  • No Shore Leave Or Crew Changes In Oil Terminals.
  • Having On Board Israeli Products Or Israeli Flag Is Strictly Prohibited.
  • Foreign Currency Not To Be Taken Ashore Unless Under Custom Deceleration.
  • Visits Between Ships Are Not Allowed Without The Prior Permission From Customs And Immigration.
  •  All Crew Members Should Have Their Valid Marine Passports
  •  No Engine Repairs To Be Carried Out Without Permission From Port Authorities.
  •  Cleaning Funnels Or Making Smoke Whilst In Port Is Strictly Prohibited.
